Choosing Your Adventure in Life.

I have been living a pretty incredible lifestyle these past several years traveling throughout South America and now growing a co-living co-working hotel in Cali Colombia. My life has been a dream come true in more ways than I could have imagined. But indeed my goals have changed since my twenties when all I wanted was freedom and travel.

After four years building up my hotel, I've actually arrived at a point where I have quite a bit of freedom again. I have a beautiful staff working 24 hours a day 7 days a week. And there are still sufficient profits coming in to take care of my living expenses and then some. And so here I am. With lots of free time again.

At the moment most of my time is spent meditating, studying photography and trying to connect with the new vision life seems to be communicating to me.

The one constraint I am feeling at the moment is the ability to leave the hotel for longer periods of time. I would like to travel more outside of Colombia to connect with people who inspire me, practice more photography and create videos as I go documenting my experiences and ultimately helping people raise their vibration.

So ironically by default of being alive on day eight of this blog post challenge, I passed my assignment.

I passed because I was spending free time in another city and connecting with a documentary film maker who was helping me plan an upcoming crowd funding campaign I’m working on.

And keeping true to the way I like to travel, I didn't make plans, in fact I didn’t even find a place to sleep until about 3am after a night of exotic bar hopping in the historical center of Bogota Colombia.

I believe traveling this way keep’s one resourceful and present. And it keeps the mystery of life unfolding perfectly.

There are times when long periods of focused action with a daily routine are very important. I enjoy this very much. Especially if I have a jacuzzi nearby.

But it’s also very important to contrast these periods with total chaos and letting go into the unknown. Not knowing where your bed is, not knowing who you’ll meet. Essentially letting life energy and your own vibration bring to you the people and situations you need to evolve to the next level in your life.

Routine and stagnation causes entropy and the cure is letting go. It’s important to remember that you can’t force anything in life. And anything that appears that way is just an illusion. If you’re having success it's because life is doing something through you as part of it's purpose towards rising consciousness.

So I would say stop trying so hard and just do what life is calling you to do at this moment. The only failure is resisting what is or not taking action because of fear.

If you can put those two things aside I promise that everything you desire will fall into place when the time is right.
